High Definition TV - Enhance Your Digital TV Experience
HDTV technology was
introduced in the United
States in the 1990s by the Digital HDTV
Grand Alliance, a group of television companies and MIT. HDTV is a digital TV broadcasting format
where the broadcast transmits widescreen pictures with more detail and quality
than found in a standard analog television, or other digital television
formats. HDTV has the same screen
resolution and refresh rate throughout the world. Such tv offers a picture free
of “ghosts,” “snow” or interference.
HDTVs are bigger and sharper than older
standard-definition TVs, so they show off more of the flaws and relative
softness of SD channels and content. It
is the entrance to an awesome, new dimension; and an almost unbelievable, new
experience; both visually and auditory.
